John Nasukaluk Clare, CEO and General Manager
John Clare is comfortable speaking behind a microphone, streaming video or playing violin. A former broadcaster for NPR, John has previously worked with Voice of America, the Canadian Broadcast Corporation and stations in Texas, Kansas, Nevada, California, and Pennsylvania. In 2005, Clare earned the Deems Taylor Award from ASCAP for radio broadcasting.
Having performed with famed tenors Luciano Pavarotti and Andrea Bocelli, Clare has played or worked with the Mid Texas Symphony, Nevada Chamber Symphony, Shreveport Symphony, Abilene Philharmonic and Wichita Symphony Orchestra. An avid chamber music lover, John founded the Las Vegas Chamber Music Society in 2004.
The morning host for Classic 107.3, Jim got his start in radio while working on a journalism degree in college. Many listeners might remember him from his days as the afternoon drive host and music director for KEZK or as a morning host and director at the former WMRY.
Classic 107.3’s midday host, Kathy has been a professional singer since she was 17 and was one of the first female members of The United States Air Force Band’s “Singing Sergeants”. Since the service, she has been a featured soloist with choruses, orchestras, concert bands and chamber ensembles in the United States, Canada and China. Kathy has served for many years as principal contralto and soloist with the baroque ensemble American Kantorei.
Producer, weekend host, and social media maven for Classic 107.3, Julie started as a part-time announcer just six months after the station went on the air. Currently, you can hear her on Sunday mornings and late weeknights; in addition, her popular Sunday Matinee on Broadway program airs at least every other weekend.
Classic 107.3 afternoon’s host, Tom knows classical music inside and out. He was one of the principal voices and music architects at KFUO for 24 years, serving as the weekday morning drive announcer and host for Friday Morning with the Arts as well as Saturday Afternoon at the Opera. Tom’s encyclopedic knowledge of music history encompasses all the major periods, repertoire, recordings, individual performing artists and groups.
